Dr. Sonya Zarkhin is thrilled to launch Destination Dermatology, where she warmly welcomes both new and returning patients to a space dedicated to exceptional skin care. As a board-certified dermatologist who trained in New York City, Dr. Zarkhin has extensive expertise in early skin cancer prevention, comprehensive skin health, and advanced skin cancer removal. Her approach to dermatology is deeply personalized—she believes in working hand-in-hand with each patient to create thoughtful, customized care plans that align with their individual goals. Dr. Zarkhin combines evidence-based medicine with genuine compassion, ensuring every patient feels heard, supported, and confident in their skin.
Jackie is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical dermatology and dedicated to delivering thorough, evidence-based care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Jackie graduated from the Nova Southeastern University’s Physician Assistant program. She is currently completing the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates Diplomate: The Legacy of Excellence Fellowship program and remains committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence.
Jackie is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), the Florida Academy of PAs (FAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA), the Florida Society of Dermatology PAs (FSDPA), and Diversity in Dermatology (DID). Known for her warm demeanor and attention to detail, she strives to build lasting relationships with her patients while delivering thoughtful, individualized care.
Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, exploring local restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and all things coffee.
